Lennon's Line

A science fiction series about cloning, time/space travel, alternate universes, and John Lennon's (fictitious) descendants. Follow John Lennon's descendants as they redefine his legacy for their time--and ours.

Disclaimer: these stories are works of fiction, although they also deal with historical events. Those segments of the stories that are historical in nature are based on extensive research. Some real persons, both deceased and alive, are mentioned in these stories. However, to the extent those persons are depicted as interacting with the fictitious characters in these stories, their actions, motivations, and conversations are entirely fictitious and should not be considered real or factual. The actions of the fictitious characters should not be considered to reflect on the real persons described as their antecedents in these stories.

The first two stories, "Move Over Ms. L" and "To Thine Own Self Be True," have been removed from this site so I can revise them for possible print publication. I'm not sure if I can or should post summaries of them, even though I know it might be hard to follow the rest of the series without having read the first two. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you for reading and enjoying these stories during their tenure on the Internet.

Jealous Girl

A science-fiction/romance crossover involving Paul Harrison (John's great-great-grandson/clone) and his girlfriend, Yvonne, which appeared in the December 2001 issue of Rooftop Sessions.

This version has been broken into additional chapters and includes some changes to the original text.

Governor's Test

Can an former actor with no political experience work with a former opponent and discover what's making Jovonne's children sick?

A short story I wrote as a challenge to myself: see if I could write a fairly short story (less than 2,500 words) in five days. Here's the result. This takes place shortly after Catalyst in the Crucible.

Governor's Test

The Key to All Locked Doors

Over eleven years have passed since Paul, with his friends and family, departed to colonize Jovonne. He and Julia now have several children, but their marriage is haunted by ghosts from Paul's past. Just as the colony receives bad news from Earth, an almost-forgotten ally of Paul's returns to offer him an opportunity to help the colony. But to earn this opportunity, Paul must stretch his quantum-mechanical talent to its limits--and lay his ghosts to rest.

This story is unique to my site and is currently in progress (i.e., first draft stage). Unfortunately, due to my membership in the OWW, my writing time has dropped significantly, and what time I do have for my own work has to be split with revising the first two stories in this series. I doubt I will be able to post a new chapter every month as I did for Catalyst in the Crucible. I am committed to finishing the first draft of this story, though, no matter how long it takes. Also, since this is a first draft, I may have to go back and revise some things in chapters I've already posted. I will post notices if/when I have to do that.

NOTE: Sexual content. Mature audiences only, please.
